Chris grew up in the coastal area of North Carolina and has come full circle in his 25+ years in real estate.  He got an early start in land development on Norris Lake ,TN and took his first community from dirt to a well established Golf and Lake community. He then excelled at many other roles including Developer Sales Associate, Sales Manager, Acquisition Manager and ultimately Division VP and Owner of Mountain Lake Properties, Knoxville TN.   He always considered NC home and migrated back to the coast where he embraced the opportunity to go into general brokerage and help many people find the perfect home near the beaches of SE North Carolina.  Chris has now formed Creekmore Realty Group and has a team that specializes in the coastal communities that have the amenities that most active adults are looking to utilize and enjoy.    He loves working where he lives and shares his knowledge of the coastal communities with his clients so they are able to make great decisions about their new home.  He is patient and knowledgeable and provides sound advice and direction.  In his spare times he loves walking the beaches with his new wife Cindy and energetic dog Ginger, section hiking the Appalachian Trail with his brother and telling some of the most fascinating stories to his friends about his past adventures.

I specialize in relocation for active adults, 55+, and second home purchases. I offer detailed knowledge of all the amenity communities and plantations in both Brunswick County and New Hanover County (Wilmington).

As a Retirement Relocation Professional, and Senior Real Estate Specialist, I have insight as to why people choose one area of the county over another, why people choose one community over another and the process of buying or building in Coastal North Carolina. I offer insight as to timing the move, timing the purchase and how to plan and execute a successful retirement location to North Carolina.

First and foremost, I have no hidden agenda other than helping the client find the right community and home for them. You can ask me anything and I will give you a knowledgeable and objective answer. I have helped clients purchase property in just about every Active Adult community in Brunswick County and the Wilmington area, however I do not “represent” any one community. This is critical when trying to make an often difficult decision on where to buy or build what may be your last home.

Also, I have built great relationships with Developers, Developer’s Agents, Builders and the builder representatives, Lenders, Inspectors, Insurance Agents and every link to the transaction that there may be. The significance of this to the buyer is that I can get answers quickly. I never charge a fee for my service and my #1 goal is to help the client purchase property in a community that is right for them without bias or prejudice. Additionally, I have detailed knowledge of properties and offerings in every community so when it comes to negotiating a best offer or direction on what options may be available to the buyer I can do so with authority.

I am a Realtor®, SRES®, specializing in relocation and second home purchases for Active Adults and 55+ clients. Brunswick County and the Wilmington-area have always been “home” to me. I began my career in Real Estate in the 90’s, and have been involved in Active Adult Recreational Communities since day one. After college, I worked for many land developers who specialized in second home recreational and retirement properties, and this led me to land acquisition and development. This experience has proven to be a great asset to my new clients looking to relocate into a retirement community.

My resources and connections with local retirement communities, builders and other relevant affiliates provides me with knowledge to quickly answer my clients questions. As a professional, I take my career seriously. I have a passion for the service I provide in helping people find their relocation dream home. I truly enjoy what I do, especially making new friends and lasting relationships!
